This blog is dedicated to my time at Lesley University. At the present I will be using it for the course Designing Curriculum that Integrates Technology 6106.

Prototype
To further explore my problem of practice and develop a prototype I have created a padlet to share out my building/structuring. This idea came from the Introduction to Design Thinking, by Hasso Plattner and the Institute of Design at Stanford, where they encourage you to just start building. So I did, with the idea of a post it wall in mind!

I like all the new changes you are making to your presentation of the material! You have really thought about what you could use to make the presentations different and differentiated for the students.
ReplyDeleteBesides blogging, they could make a video explaining what they learned in the flipped lesson. They could also use VoiceThread which allows them to draw arrows and add drawing to their explanation of what they learned. Sue Cusack sent me an article about students using Twitter to comment on an author's books; this would be really authentic writing for a real audience. Good ideas.
Note to self...write comment in a Word document so it won't be deleted when you try to post!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you included a screenshot of your Padlet. Did you know that you can actually embed it on your blog? That way, Theresa and I can click on it to see what your students would see.
Some points for you to ponder...How are you going to differentiate your time face-to-face? Will it be used for answering questions, going over homework, and/or allowing students time to view material posted? A word of advice is to include both materials that you make and materials that you find online. I think it allows your students to have multiple perspectives.
I left a comment in your blend space.
